Rod Bollinger - Staff Minister


Rod Bollinger began his service as Minister of Youth/Family Discipleship at St, John’s in July of 1998. He leads and organizes youth and family ministry, teaches, visits shut-ins, new members, and hospitals, assimilates members into service, etc.
Rod grew up in Zeeland, ND and attended high school at Northwestern Lutheran Academy in Mobridge, SD. He graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1977 and then served as Principal/Upper grade teacher at St. Paul’s, Norfolk, NE (1977-83) and in the same capacity at St. Lucas, Kewaskum, WI (1983-1998).  He has done graduate work at Martin Luther College and Concordia University, Mequon, WI.
He is married to Karen (Cudnohoske) and they have been blessed with three daughters; Danielle Scriver (Scott), Cara Ziesemer (Todd) and Hope. Rod and Karen have also been blessed with three grandchildren. It has also been a tremendous blessing to have all the children close by in the Milwaukee area. Karen is employed at BKV as an Email Marketing Specialist.
They have enjoyed their years in Oak Creek very much as well as being a part of the St. John’s family and ministry.
