Planned Giving Fund
St. John's Planned Giving Fund (PGF) provides ways and opportunities for members to give to St. John's--separate from the General Fund offerings. Primarily PGF donations come from estates and wills where members leave a portion of their assets to St. John's after death.
If someone would like assistance or has questions regarding wills and estates, a member of our congregation is an attorney and would be willing to help and/or advise individuals. Donations can also be given as a gift to St. John's at any time. The monetary amount can be designated for a specific use according to what the donor chooses.
The PGF gifts are not part of the yearly operational budget but are used for special projects and ministry. Some recent examples are: Outreach brochures, elevator project, play set, exterior sign and basement flooring. In thanks to members who have already donated to the PGF as these recent projects would not be possible without their gifts.
God does indeed bless our giving for He says: Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse that there may be food in my house. Test me in this says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. Malachi 3:10
